Where can I buy a new EVGA 015-P3-1482-AR GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) SuperClocked 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card?

The problem I am hamming is finding another card of these make and model with the exact same RAM amount!

I don't trust second hand products and I do not trust ebay. Where else can I find this model of video card, as I would like to configure them in SLI.

The internet.

Here is a link to one on buy.com...http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=215990056&sellerid=14479157

The thing is this isn't the AR models so no lifetime warranty...buy a second hand one from someone with good seller rating, it is worth it, I paid 160 for my gtx 560ti and had no issues with it. You can sli any 480's btw...

You're either going to pay an arm and a leg for them brand new and have a hard time finding them or you're going to pay a more reasonable price for them second hand and still have a hard time finding them

I thought you can't SLI cards of the same type that don't have the exact same RAM?

any GTX480 gpu will work for sli, don't even have to be the same ram amount IIRC it will just use the smallest amount of ram of the 2 cards.
Ahh I never knew this. I had been told otherwise, in the past.

You can, like if you take a 580 with 3gb of RAM and a 580 with 1.5, you can have them in SLI, but will only have 1.5gb of ram between the two.

He's quite right, as long as its the same model with nvidia you can sli them.
460 768mb can sli with the 460 1GB, however you only get to use 768mb as that's the lowest of the two vRam. The sli/xfire thing is the same for amount of vRAM for multiple cards, lowest amount of card will set how much the others can use

Your CPU says you have money flying out your ass. Why not just sell the 480 you have and upgrade to GTX5x0 SLI of some sort?

Just grab any 580 that looks appealing to you then sli them and use afterburner to match the clocks up.
We talking about a 480 here NOT a 580.

But any ref 480 will Sli with the one you have, they all have same Vram amount and the only difference in the superclock is that the bios is just set so the base clock is slightly higher, nothing else different.
