Hi guys, i just formatted reinstalled my OS and got Dirt 2 again. I have my saved games backed up and i put them in the Dirt 2 folder and it keeps starting from the beginning? How do i do it so that the game starts from my last save? Thanks

all u gotta do is make a new save game,

Go to my documents,

My games

you should then see dirt two,

Then copy the files across

Works fine every time done it loads

Where do i copy the files across too? There is only one folder called hardwaresettings in the Dirt 2 folder? I have tried creating a new folder called savedgames and putting them in there but that didnt work?

All you gotta do,

Do the first race on dirt 2 and make sure to enable auto save.

When you done the first race it will blab on untill you get to the Rv then quit and you should have a profie or save game folder, just copy into that

Ok, i did get to the first race and quit, then copied them into the savegame folder but they didnt get recognised again?

Do i HAVE to complete the first race?

Yea u do have to complete it

It wont work otherwise

its only 3 laps so dont worry, U dont have to win either just come in the top 3 and make sure u finish and allow it to do all the talking e.c.t

You don't. All you do is don't reformat your system and pray that GFWL won't nuke your saves.

EDIT: Its soooo annoying that you cant skip the stuff at the beginning!

Dam, well it didnt work. I gues my game saves are gone

. I copied them into the savegame folder along with the saved game that i had when i just completed the first race.

Did you replace the save game or copy it along side it?

You want to delete the new save games (not the folder just the contents)

Then copy your old save games into the folders.

I just pasted them in with it? Do i delete that saved game and the autosave then or keep the autosave?
