I'm in a rural area so no local computer, home audio, or music stores carry them. I'm wondering if there are any places in Canada that ship these for a decent price?! For such a popular pair of gaming headphones I'm surprised how few stores carry them. Normally I'd buy used here, but not for headphones, I kinda want those new.

EDIT: I've also read here that there's a cheap pair of headphones under $50 that are a good bang for the buck. Not great headphones but better then anything else in the price range although I can't remember the name of them. They're either RCA or JVC.

Thanks. Already looked there.
They're 50 to 60 bucks cheaper in the US and due to the dollar being close to par a lot of Canadian retailers are offering on par pricing. I just can't find one selling the ATH-AD700. I'm not willing to pay the extra 50 to 60 bucks plus shipping. I'd almost bet money that some store in a major Canadian city has them for around $90 or less.

East Coast. Lived in Whistler for a year though man. Amazing time!

As for the cans, adorama.com has them and they ship to Canada. The total is about $120 shipping incld. for a new pair which is cheaper then new ones on e-bay and at amazon.ca. But I'm hoping to find a Canadian retailer and to save a further 30 of 40 bucks.

I grew up in Toronto and lived in Nova Scotia for 6 months

I paid $120 for mine a few years ago shipped, I'd say that's a good deal and would be surprised/interested if you could find better.

As for the headphones, I'll order them from adorama when the next cheque comes in.
