Which AM3 board to get?

641 Views 12 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  SilverPotato
Hey everyone, Its time for me to make the jump to AM3/DDR3 so I've got a few questions I need answered.

1) Should we be expecting an AM3+ architecture soon?
2) If not, should I wait for a new series of AM3 boards or buy now?
3) If not, which version should I get 785G/790GX/790FX?

Other Stuff
- I will be using my current X3 720 w/ 4th core @ 3.6GHz so I'd like the new one to do that as well
- I'm also looking for some advice on RAM if anyone has it
