Hey all, I was looking to get a video card for $200 (sold a couple of things). I will be upgrading from a 4870.

Lifetime warranty would be a plus, I saw that newegg was having a deal on the 5850's for $170 (after rebate).

Any suggestions would be appreciated

A used 5870. In fact, you can find them around $180 if you look hard enough. Just buy an XFX card with the double lifetime warranty.

I would say go for a 6850 or used 5870.

I just got a 5870 XFX like 4 days ago with tranferable warranty (havent registered it yet). It works great though I just saw that tigerdirect has the 6950 XFX for 263 AR and CB from add it up.

If you got $220 and are interested I'll sell it to u. Then I might go eye infinity when I get the cash to buy 2 more monitors.

Newegg have the 5870 $239.99 with rebate. Extra $40 out of your price range however.

I got the 5870 for £200 which is $312.06. I mean $239.99 is a good price.

Runs all my games smoothly on high graphics. Couldn't be anymore impressed. Also double lifetime warranty.

My friend from Taipei said that GIGABYTE's 5870OC had priced down to $260, it sounds great to get this card from Taiwan, maybe this price will be soon reflect here. Though 5870OC now prices $269.99 with rebate in NewEgg, it's still an attractive price for an OC card.

$200, how about 460 1G or 6850?

Not to be nerdy about it but... I cant resist. ATI stopped making cards after the 5xxx series. So all 6xxx series cards and later are AMD cards now not ATI.
