these are the graphics cards i am looking at:
Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P Motherboard
ASUS M4A79T Deluxe Motherboard

the cpu will be
AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition
looking at oc and unlocking

ram
Kingston HyperX KHX1600C8D3T1K2 (2x2GB) DDR3

gpu
Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB
will crossfire later

which board would be the best. ok if not one of those would not like to spend over $200 but those boards (2 of them anyway) would do a very good job for crosfire.
thanks

The Gigabyte UD5P is the solid pick. 750 southbridge, ddr3 OC 1666. Very reliable board and gigabyte always has updates for the bios. O' and a solid overclocker too!!!

I'm also recommending the Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P. I have first hand knowledge of the board and it was a great board to overclock a Sempron 140 with (a total dream budget chip btw)

i just found this board local for $95

DFI LanParty UT X48-T3RS
That's an Intel board running with a ICH9R chipset. I would get at least an ICH10R chipset if you're going to be using raid configuration and storage.

But all in all, its your choice. Good luck.

I would stay away from s775 at this point. It's a dead socket, you can't go anywhere with it. They've already moved onto two new sockets.
