Hey huntman21014 -

Voodoo Dan from HP here. Of the two you listed, I would go with the $18 heat sync. It has more airflow at the same noise level, for cheaper price.

Ehh, the $18 xig has free shipping and I think it will be more than enough, with my 3200+ on stock cooling at 1.5v my load temps are only 50C

I'd at least get the 964. that other one...I'm not sure how well it would cool. a heatsink is not something you want to skimp out on. always get the best performing heatsink you can for the price you can afford, meaning, get the HDT-s1283 or the HDT-SD964.
oh, and on my s754 3200 newcastle, I had load temps of about 50-55c at 1.77v. before at those voltages it would soar to 65+. it allowed me to go from 2.48ghz to 2.6ghz iirc
