Which Cooling?

Hi, I recently bought a vapochill phase unit with a lian li case, but the buyer filed an unpaid item dispute and gave me negative feedback, so it fell through. I'm now having second thoughts about phase. Which of these should I get?

-Phase
-TEC
-Water/Coolant

To put you in the picture, I'm still in school, don't have much for my rig (currently only just over £300[$600] but I'm gonna do a £5[$10] an hour job over the summer holidays. What do you think?

Actually, if you have good airflow and a good cooler that would be the best. But if you don't want that go for watercooling, it's not gonna cool that much better than good aircooling.
Are you totally sure about that?
In my opinion if you have really good airflow and a good cooler yes! I had thermalke watercooling and it sucked, or maybe I was doign something wrong..put I got 60c with P4 3.2 Ghz @ load. With this cooler @ load i'm on 550-55c. But it's still my guess tho. You can get pretty good results with a expensive WC set. But in my opninion with that money and aircooling you can get better results.

Can someone clarify this?

A highend air cooler i.e. Thermalright 120 extreme will be equal to a midrange water cooling setup

Edit: thermaltake water cooler sucks really bad.
Check out the extreme cooling at www.xtremesystems.org

I checked it out last night and it seems like they have a better understanding/explanation over there.

OCN is still my favorite though.

Phase FTW
I wouldn't bother with phase cooling. Water is probably your best bet. Get a Stinger V8 (economy), an Apogee or a Fuzion block, a good 240mm rad and a decent pump and you have a great base for WC. Next all you have to do is choose fans for the radiator and get tubing, clamps, and water additives.
kk, checking it out, but it seems to be taking forever to load. Also, still can't quite decide if phase is worth it, and no one seems to have mentioned TEC yet.
A TEC needs a good WC setup, so you might as well get a good WC setup and see if that gives the performance you want, and if not, add a TEC later. I am not sure how much it costs, but fstfrddy is making TEC specific waterblocks now. You could PM him to get a price quote.
kk thanks. I'm still not sure whether to go for phase or water yet, so if anyone has any more advice, I'd be glad to hear it.
bump.
get some good water, and if its not enough get a pelt.
