im about to order my cpu block but i'd like some opinions on the D-TEK Customs Fuzion CPU Water Block and the "Swiftech APOGEE GTZ LGA775 CPU Water Block G1/4 Chrome HI-FLOW 1/2IN Barb Fittings"
I'm not worried about price, so either one would do. if anyone had any personal experience with these blocks, what were they like to install and maintain?
I'm about to order the D-TEK one but i read reviews on it and people said the barbs were too close to each other, but it had good barbs on it. I saw some reviews on the second one and people said it was easy to install but the barbs aren't as good, but it comes with a backplate.
Can't do this to a GTZ, plus GTZ is restrictive if you have a chipset block also.

The barbs are fine with the Fuzion, I used them with 1/2 tubes and fit clamps on. Now I use a custom top and I am able to use bitspower barbs without clamps, no leaky poo.
and how do tube coils work, apart from their looks? would it be worth picking up? again, money isn't much of an issue but if its going to be completely useless then ill save my money and skip out on it.

The coils will allow you to bend tubing at much small radii than without. They are definitely worth the price, but I would look for coils other than swiftech. They tend to crack and fall apart within a couple of months.
It all depends on what you like. Some people like the Swiftech GTZ, and other people like The Fusion V1 or V2. They both are pretty much tie to tie in performance wise. I personally like the Fusion.
I just ordered the GTZ. I hear both are awesome, but I chose the GTZ, because when I can afford compression fittings I wanna be sure I can fit them. IMO both of them are ugly.
