I started this thread to take a poll of which of this would you do if ordering an new i7 system. Starting to run out of time. I will be placing my order tomorrow afternoon. So I am on my final leg of finalizing what I will get.

Oh just seen this so could put in the poll, what about just getting one of this and just keeping my 320gb HD, maybe trading out later for 2 640gb Blacks raid 0.
Well I can tell you that I bought a 160GB X25-M for OS/Games/Apps and I thought that I may only need an 80gb drive, but it is funny how fast the drive fills up. You would be really happy with the 160gb drive, although I got a really good deal on mine, so it really depends upon how much you are willing to spend.

If you are going to spend that much on that one SSD, I would just get the X25-M.

Or spend a little more:

So would the 80+160gb SSD be better which is 240gb and a 320gb HD for left over. I normally have about 220gb or at times about 250gb at one time on this computer. but I want extra space for media like music or files I might need like scans etc.
Ok here is what I have come to. I just get a 160gb SSD(OS, Games and important and always used apps) and 640gb Black for everything else. Which comes to 800gb then something to back it all up. Or should i just get a 32gb SSD(for my OS only) then put in 4 640gb Black in Raid 0(for everything but OS). then a 2t extarnal drive for back up.

I would get the 160 and put your games and applications on it, they run SOOOO much faster I can't believe the speed!
