have you considered Demciflex filters? They work really well, are easy to maintain, and in my opinion, they don't ruin the look of most cases.

I have. I really just can't justify spending 20+ dollars on a fan filter.

But if you really think it's worth it, I may take a look into them some more.

Lol I am aware of the dryer sheets and panty hoes method.

Personally I'm not crafty enough to create a custom filter. I'd rather shell out the 5-10 bucks apiece

There are full square ones for 120mm guess not for 140mm. But they work great and the air restriction isn't nearly as bad as the majority.

Of the 2 you listed I'd go with the first.
Yeah that one does look nice, however I do need 140mm.

pretty sure if you just cut a piece of dryer sheet into a square and just screwed it on with your fan, it would be fine. not much modding required. its not like you need a drill to drill through a dryer sheet....
