Scythe = 110.31CFM , 37dBA
Silverstone = 110.03CFM 39.5dBA

So Scythe provides a little more...hardly a difference though..
However The Silverstone pushes less air and is noisier, so I'd pick the Scythe...
Your choice though, is the $4 worth it?

I use a couple of slipstreams. They're not quiet.

This is with my fan controller turned all the way to low, my single slipstream (110cfm) @ 800ish rpm is louder than any/all of my case/gpu fans.

Out of the two the OP picked the SlipStream is the quietest and pushes the most air....

just one that will cool my cpu better. i currently have a xigmatek s1284 and the fan on just don't cut it. right now my e6600 o/c'ed to 3Ghz on 1.38 vcore can go up to 56C on load.

i just thought that the higher the rpm, the more cooling it gives.

cheers guys
