Which games?

Give me 5 suggestions of games that I could play on my current system. Hate RPGs. Love Sports, Driving, Flying, FPS, Strategy, Action/Adventure.

Don't flame me for this but you might want to consider investing into a video card before buying any games. Most of the games people will soon suggest are going to run like crap on integrated graphics (if they even will run). For the price of 1 game, you'll be able to expand your choices of games hugely.

The few games I can think which would run on a 7050 would just seem like an eye strain.

upgrade your gpu first.
games:
racing - grid
fps - cod4
strategy - portal
sports - madden 09 or nhl 09 are my favs, but get a controller, they suck on keyboards
flying - wait for HAWX to come out
action/adventure - hmm the sims 3 when it comes out, its not really action or adventure but its really fun and addicting.

+1 A video card will do you good.

Based on those specs, I'd recommend:

FPS:
Half-Life +expansions
Counter-Strike
Unreal Tournament 2004
Ghost Recon
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Quake Live
Deus Ex

RTS:
Warcraft 3
Starcraft
Red Alert 2
Age of Empires 2

Other:
Diablo 2
Sam and Max Adventures
Grim Fandango
Oddworld
Psychonauts
Thief 1 & 2
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver
Grand Theft Auto 3

These should all run relatively fine and with few hiccups. I enjoyed them all and hope you like them too. Still, a video card might be in order.

I didn't bring any benchtests on it but I'm sure this will kick your current on-board card.

actually the best cheapest card you can get is this. HD3850, plus free shipping.

100x better than the 8500gt, and only $20 bucks more expensive, should run pretty much any game on moderate settings. Actually its less then $15 more, if you take into account the shipping of the 8500gt

Maybe give Company of Heroes a go. Great game! It runs on my flatmates fx5200 @1024x768 with everything on low. So it should be ok on an integrated card. Just play with the settings to find a good balance.

Get This, then get the games.

That GPU can run HAWX, Fallout 3, etc on nearly highest settings at 1440x900.

Most likely.

As for the games, anyone who knows me knows i love to buck the trend to here's my somewhat odd game list... for cheap!:

FPS: Battlefield 2, Crysis
RTS: Supreme Commander, Red Alert 3, Command @ Conquer 3

Bonus Freebies (no seriously they're free):

FPS: Legions (instantaction.com), Tribes, Tribes 2, Americas Army
MMORPG (yeah yeah its free and not korean, no whining): Anarchy Online
