So which graphic card would you buy for 1920x1200 resolution?

I need one and i can't decide between 5770, 5770 crossfire, 5850, 4890, gtx 260, gtx 275...

That really depends on your needs, what do you play? I'd recommend buying a dx11 card, so you don't need to update again soon.

I enjoy my 4890 quite a lot, but all of those cards would do quite well at the resolution.

If you have the money for the 5850 I would pick that.

5770 CF
5850 or above
4850x2 or 4870x2 (these could also be CF instead of x2 versions)
4890 CF

GTX 260 216 SLI or above (such as GTX 275 SLI or GTX 295 or GTX 285 SLI)

With those graphics card combos, you should be able to max most games (maybe not crysis) at 1920*1200 with 4x AA minimum, and 16x AF.

GTX 260 would be the weakest option there, then it'd be the GTX 275, then the HD4890 would be about 8% faster, then it's the HD5850, then it's the HD5770 CrossFire.

I'd go for the HD5770 CrossFire, personally. It beats the HD5850 on pretty much every game, and it's probably cheaper than a single HD5850 too.

I use a single 4850 at 1920x1080 without a real hiccup (not playing crysis fyi), any of the cards you listed would be great.

I'd go with a 4890 for now though. Price is roughly the same as the gt260, but performance-wise, it's in the range of the 275+. There is a guy in the FS threads with a couple for sale at pretty cheap prices http://www.overclock.net/video/61973...e-dropped.html

This.

DX11 won't run well on current gen DX11 cards anyway.

In terms of performance:

5850 > 4890 > GTX275 > 5770

Id say out of them choices 5770 CF easiest to get hold of out of all the 5 series cards,Dx11 , An yeiled the same if not better preforamce than a 5870 for cheaper win win.

I think the very least for that resolution is the GTX260, I thought this so bought two of them instead. I would probably go for 5770 crossfire as I hear they scale very well together

what's your budget & what do you need to run (all detail on highest & aa/af on max)?

Well, thank guys, i have unlimited budget, but my head has limits

So, i was thinking, mine p5qe won't scale so good with crossfire, or will it?

So, 5850 would be the best choice and no, i'm not pointing on dx11, i just want the best gfx for the money and my resolution
