Which GPU to pick?

So I got my sig rig below and I wanna upgrade my graphics card.

I plan on getting 1 graphics card now and a new 22" 1920x1080 monitor in a week. Then in a month or so get another GPU to SLI/Crossfire.

I am leaning towards Nvidia because I like their brands, EVGA, BFG, XFX better and they have Physx for games like Mirrors Edge.

I also plan on watercooling the card(s) with some swiftech mcw-60 or dtek fuzion blocks and add another MCR220 in my loop, so heat shouldn't be a huge problem.

So provide me info on why which card is better or benchmark links.

Option 1 - GTX 260 and in a month or so SLI 260's
Option 2 - GTX 285 and MAYBE SLI in a couple months
Option 3 - 4870 512mb and then Crossfire
Option 4 - 4870 1gb and Crossfire
Option 5 - Suggest me a setup

Games I play and plan to play
F.E.A.R. 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Mirror's Edge, RSV2

How much do you want to spend? If price isnt a problem the go for the 295.If your looking to upgrade more in a few months then go for the big one then save up for another.
Budget isn't a set price but the GTX 295 is too expensive. I am leaning towards one GTX 285 right now and then when the price drops I will get another.
A gtx285 would be perfect.
Well pick up 2 of these right now for the price of the 285 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150329
Then you wont have to wait for a few months to get the other and their performance is pretty damn good.
If the 285 is in your budged, go with it. Looks like you'll have funds soon for another one. Good plan.
get a 4870x2 and you wouldn't need to upgrade later.
A single GTX 285 should be able to handle that res fine. Get one now than SLI later on.

Prices of the GTX 285 have gone down, I would say grab those. If not then definitely pick up GTX 260s they are awesome cards for the price.
I would also go for a GTX285 now and then wait for the prices to drop and get another

I have a evga gtx285 and i love it. Plan on getting either a x48 board or upgrading to a x58 build and going sli. great card!
GTX285 is the way to go. A 183w GPU as GTX260 but better performance.
I'm torn between getting a GTX 285 or two GTX 260s!
But i think i would need to change my memory to sli memory?

No. RAM has nothing to do with SLI. It is all sales gimmicks.

Just order a GTX285 and later, if you can, buy other one for the SLI -setup.
Wait like 25 days and go for the 4890 1gb versions in CF. Those will beat pretty much anything im sure.
