Which GTS 250 should i buy?

I notice that several cards on amazon (EVGA) are differently priced. I understand that you will encounter superclocked ones selling for quite a bit more than the stock clocks, however there are some that are only a few dollars more than others but don't seem to be different in spec.

What's up with that? Anyhow, if you know of any particular model of this card that is best just let me know. I prefer the elite partners EVGA, BFG, XFX.

Just curious, are you getting this for SLI?
I always buy the cheapest card from EVGA. No superclocked, no SSC, no FTW, no extra memory, nothing. Whichever EVGA, XFX, or BFG card is cheapest, buy it

I'd buy from EVGA, why? the step-up program. ONLY reason for buying my GTS250 from them, so when GT300 comes out, i can step-up, and get my moneys worth from my card.

it's the cat's meow.
If u want good cooling stock system go For the Palit Gts250 its cheap in price but build on nvidias ground so its all so good as the evga's and ...

wat u think post me on my blog
i think palit is good even tho its not a big seller in america but in europ its one of the good marketing

Good luck with extending the step-up, GT300 is expected in March now.

I like my BFG GTS 250 OC 1 gb for about 150 can. doubles as a good phyixs card later on
I'd go EVGA if you're going for the GTS 250 for sure. But ATi just released the 4860 for 130USD:

IMO, that's a damn good deal. Theoretically, it should be faster than the GTS 250.
You should look if INNO3d and Palit offer lower prices for the GTS 250. they are also good brands
GTS250
MY cousin says this is his favorite one

My roommate says this one is also a good choice.

btw
to find the brands whose warranty and service support offered are identical is the best policy ^_^

A little FYI:
Check EVGA's website before you buy this card for it's "Step Up" incentive. I fell victim to that and you can NOT step this card up to anything. I was just building my basic i7 rig and figured I could get a 275-285 later with a "Step Up" and nhhhhhh. Couldn't even get a 260. So now I am stuck with a GTS250 512mb until I can afford one of the others outright.
i love my XFX, double lifetime warranty man

Out of curiousity I checked what my available step up cards are with BFG.
* GTX 280 H2OC 1GB PCIE Etail - [Trade Up]
* GTX 295 1792MB PCIE2 - [Trade Up]
* GTX 285 1024 OC2 PCIE2 - [Trade Up]
* GTX 260 MC55 OC 896MB PCIe2 - [Trade Up]
* GTX 275 OC 896 GDDR3 PCIE2 - [Trade Up]
* GTX 275 OC2 896 GDDR3 PCIe2 R - [Trade Up]
* GTX 295 1792 H2OC LE - [Trade Up]
* GTX 285 2048 GDDR3 PCIe2 OC R - [Trade Up]
Again you just cant go wrong with BFG. Maybe youll get lucky and it will die in 3 years and youll get something from RMA thats wayyy bettter. We have all read the stories of BFG doiing this.
