Ok. My i7 920 and 6GB Dominators are coming maybe next week. Now which X58 motherboards would you guys recommend? My first choice though is P6TD Deluxe but I cannot find reviews for this mobo.

Please help me pick one.

Thanks.

EDIT: BTW, my budget is <$300

If your willing to spend that much on a motherboard why not go with a Foxxcon Bloodrage? Those things are amazing! If not, a Rampage board. Those things will probably beat the P6TD.
Bloodrage (or Flaming Blade to get the same features at a lower price point) or Classified IMHO.
i've been hearing so much about this foxconn bloodrage but the problem is i am buying at amazon and this mobo is not available. any other options? how about this gigabyte x58-ud5?

The UD5P is a great board. I think all UD boards from Gigabyte are amazing. Except the color scheme of the board.

Who cares, you aren't spending all day staring at the motherboard!
honestly though, i'm debating between p6td deluxe and x8-ud5. i still have to do some more googling for me to decide.

Same here!
Given the bizarre lack of reviews on the P6TD I'm not sure what to think about it... in all likelihood it is just like a P6T Deluxe V2 with Stack Cool 3 instead of 2+ and no floppy connector, so it should be a great motherboard, but practically no reviews anywhere... what gives?
Just because of that I'm tempted to go with the Gigabyte myself even though I've been an Asus guy for over 10 years, plus it's 10 bucks cheaper where I shop, and I like Gigabyte's dual BIOS feature.

Great topic i was about to create one about x58's too thx all for suggestions
Choice of motherboard is only dependent on your video card setup requirement and preference of brand due to warranty and features.

For all purposes the Asus P6T Deluxe is the weapon of choice for duel video card. The UD5 is a poorly executed tri sli board.

Yeah. P6TD deluxe has almost the same features with P6T deluxe v2. What I really like with this mobo is the 16+2 power phase design. I might go with this since from my experience using ASUS motherboards is the user friendly bios for OC'ing.

Guys, what about this Foxconn Flaming Blade? It's a 5/5 review in Ninja Lane. Any insights?

you should look into the Asus P6X58D premium, it's the same thing as the P6t deluxe v2 except it comes with SATA 6 and USB 3.0. the layout is pretty good and right now i'm pushing my i7 on 4.3ghz on megahalem(yes it fits tall heatsinks)
How about the P6T vanilla? How high you can do OC with this mobo? It got GOLD award at Overclockersclub. P6T owners, what is your experience?
