Which is best DVD-R or DVD+R?

-R is more common , or atleast it was when I use to burn dvds....... But it really depends on the player.....most players recognize -R , not all recognize +R
It's not the same... but doesn't really matter.
It would have mattered quite a bit about 5 years ago. Not really anymore.
I've had much better luck with -R myself...

Some of the +R DVDs I've burned in the past didn't work in several players that I own, but nearly all of the -R discs did, therefore I just stick to -R.

That's because the DVD-R is an older standard than the DVD+R if I remember correctly.

I can live with that....

All I care about is that it works... because I have enough coasters laying around to hold my cold drinks and I don't need extras from bad burns.

DVD+R seems to be really standard now from where I live.
like someone else stated a few years ago it would of mattered but now both are very common to be read by DVD players.
