The Samsung has the better response time making it better for gaming and they also have a better reputation IMHO. I have always used Samsung LCDs and never a problem, never a single dead pixel as far as that goes.

I would go with the Samsung. What is your budget?
I'd go with the Acer, it has a larger resolution.
Personally I'd go with the Samsung. Zero dead or stuck pixel warranty, exceptional picture for TN panels imo also.

Another vote for the samsung, as its only a inch smaller. The quality out weighs that :thumbs:
