Which Monitor Will Be Better?

Please can somebody give me an idea of how things would run on each of these monitors? Monitor 1 and Monitor 2

I have this graphics card with an Intel Core i7-3770K, 16Gb DDR3 1600MHz Ram and a Samsung 840 SSD.

I have a bonus coming up and I want to get either of these monitors but im finding it hard to decide. I'd rather have Monitor 1 but am worried it wont run games as well with the higher res!

Thanks in advance :)

The 34UM95 is the better of the two, having a resolution of 3440x1440p while the 34UM65-P has a resolution of 2560x1080p. Besides that the 34UM95 has better color contrast, brightness, and has build in speakers unlike the 34UM65-P. Your build can handle 2560x1080p just fine, maxing most games out(will have to turn down aliasing and such down on some newer games) and for the 3440x1440p monitor, you should be able to play older games at max settings, and newer games at medium-high settings or ultra with aliasing turned off

Edit: I see I read to fast and missed the point of the question. I say go for the 1440p if you plan on another card in the next few months, if not, the 1080p

Thanks, I'll get the 1440p one :)

(Both have built in speakers, just for anyone else deciding)
I wonder how long would it take for the novelty of ultra short displays to wear off, and vendors to wake up to the reality that many users want 16:10 4K display (3996 × 2400). Yeah, market them as "tall", or "not height challenged".
