I would say that you should consider an Abit AW9D-MAX...!
I got that mobo, and it's a really good overclocker!!!

Don't go for that one on particular. I would wait for the overclocking pr0s to come and answer your questions

The P5WD2 is a good board, I have a 920 at 3.8Ghz on one right now and only temps keep it from going further.

however, as far as I know, it has not been revised to support the C2D.....so no, don't buy it.

The P5B Deluxe is a very good board, lots of features, good RAID options and I think there will be some more BIOS tweaks next year to make it an even better overclocker and make the new memory controller come alive.

The P5W DH is another good board, fewer RAID options, but allows full speed dual video card systems...the P5B Deluxe can run dual card systems with hacked drivers but the second one will only run at 4x.

People have seen good results with the ABIT mentioned as well.....

The only difference between the Wi-fi version and the regular is the Wi-fi. So if you don't need the Wi-fi, then don't worry about it.

Give us an idea of your specific expectations from this system and we can narrow down some things. Is it for gaming? Video encoding? Multitasking?

well i typed up a small description about the specs i am planning to have in the 1st page.

with this kind of motherboard i am assuming i would already have a great audio channel, as i dont need to buy meslf an sound card for Dolby Digital Cinema experience.

i do tend to also want to have 2 graphic cards in, but thats minor.

myself, like to do all sort of things, video, gaming and multitasking, thus i was recommend to get an ASUS for overclocking my arriving Intel Core 2.

check the 1st page.
