My aim is to buy a nice cooler today

Which of these should I buy...

i got a maximus formula and looking to buy a cooler as well so ill be taking a look at this topic.
people have been reccomending the zalman 9000 series to me.
im no expert but ive heard alot of good talk on the Xigmatek coolers

Xigmatek HDT-S1283 hands down. Not sure what "new technology" you're talking about with the Nexus one. It's the same as every other heatpipe cooler. My second choice would be the Noctua one though.

I've been using the Xigmatek in all my latest builds and people are really happy with them. It has to be the best price/performance CPU cooler out there (but the prices are going up as they become more popular).
