RAM performance means nothing for gaming.

No discernible difference between the two for gaming, or anything 3D, for that matter. If you were doing something like Super Pi, it'd be different.

Hmmm, honestly they are probably going to be the same. I would suggest that if you really wanted to put your mind at ease. Any kit that can do CL7 @ 1600 or [email protected] 2000 would be your best bet for future-proofing.

Also you might find it more cost effective to find a 6GB kit and doubling up on it as opposed to searching for a 12GB kit.
