Which one will you get?: GH World Tour/Rock Band 2

Neither I have guitar hero 2, 3 and Rock band.

Thats enough.

im planning on rock band 2 but can you guys clear something up for me. Since im only spending $180 ONCE. on a video game will the rockband 2 instruments work with rockband 1 and guitar hero world tour? will the guitar hero instruments work with the rockband games? I really liked playing rock band 1 at my friends house. Im still trying to figure out if its really worth it. Since it is the price of 3 games!

Its a mixed bag on the compatibility of the controllers but this website should help you out...

I already have Rockband 2, and I don't think I could go back to the circle notes, it just seems wrong.

I may pick up the GH:WT drum set though, depending on the price. I would get the ION, but if they think more than a dozen people are going to pay $400 for one they are sorely mistaken.

i have both... the new guitar hero instruments are awesome, and i like them a lot more than the rock band ones. rock band 2 is a nicer looking game and at the moment has way more songs, but GH:WT has some pretty sweet songs... hotel california, ccr, tool, hendrix and so on.

i would recommend both, but with the GH:WT instruments.

I have changed my pre-order to the set for GH-WT as if pre-ordered you get a bass guitar for free which means I would have a GH3 Les Paul a WT Strat and a WT Bass along with drums and mic.

So that will set me up for getting RB/RB2 solus...

I've had RB2 since it launched, I'll put GH:WT on my Xmas list. My RB1 and GH3 instuments are just fine, no new instruments at all for me.

I'm probably gonna get neither since my gh3 is collecting quite a bit of dust now.
But I might get GH-WT to play some of the songs. =/
