Hi guys I was wondering which mobo I should get for my new sandy bridge build.

I was thinking either this http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...32593(ME).aspx

Or this http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...32637(ME).aspx

I know the ASUS costs more and I can get it for 230 I was just wondering if its worth the extra cash. Also if you have any better recommendations for mobo's please tell me just pick it from that site.

Also what is some good cheap ram for these mobo's? I only really need 4gb.

Thanks alot guys

Well honestly between those two I would Go Asus. Gigabyte has had some issues with their boards, decent don't get me wrong but some flawed design issues, which as far as I know have not been revised and corrected. (no not the chipset recall issue either)

Used the Deluxe for about 2 months, was a pretty good mb and has a nice user experience with it.

So my votes for the Deluxe.

Well, should be more aimed at they don't have the bios nailed down yet. Not 100% sure on the particulars(expanding on this, almost grabbed a UD4 myself after getting in some reviews learned of Gigabytes issues, read around there out there to find.), but I have been steered clear of them. The UD7 as far as I'm aware is a fine and stable one. But the UD3 and UD4 are not Gigabytes finest design.

And my mind is fine. Thank You for your concern.

Although, not that there are any boards out there yet that have been refined for P67 as of yet, imo there are better choices than Giga at this time. imo

to be honest asus has BIS issues as well, and B3 boards's BIOS is much more stable. The new BIOS released fixed a ton of issues that it had with reboots and clod starts. I think most of it has to do with people not knowing how to OC. A problem where the BIOS would corrupt has been solved, problem with restart button causing issues upon reboot has been solved as well. Multiple cold boot problems as well. You hear less and less issues than in the beginning and its just how it works with new products. ASUS P67 boards are far from being problem free as well.

Oh without a doubt about Asus, whole reason I don't have a deluxe myself right now. However the M4E has been awesome for me so far.

And if Gigabyte has pushed some new bios's out then that helps a lot, I also saw where they have an EFI available for the UD4 now as well. Since they took their time hopefully it's ideal and is ironed out?

As far as Oc'ing goes either one would be just as good, heck hardly a difference going from the $100 P67 boards, Biostars is an ok example of that.

Should have gone with the Deluxe... a BIOS with a GUI is worth anything.

Haven't had a single problem with my Evo, it's got me to 4.7ghz 1.3v under load

I was considering the UD4 too but choose the asus since it has a few more features and most P67 boards in that price range overclock pretty much the same..

Takes too much time, and keyboard is faster. I have an ASUS p67 and MSi p67, i actually think MSi did a good job with their BIOS, but of course MSi had their UEFI BIOS for a LONG time before anyone else. their "click" BIOS is nothing new.

If you're willing to spend the money for the Deluxe, you might as well spend an extra $20 for the Gigabyte UD5

At the end of the day, all the P67 mobos you've mentioned are all good boards. It basically comes down to your preference for what's being offered by the mobos
