Which PS3 game would you purchase?

AC2 is better then the first, I would recommend it.

Fallout 3 is a great game that will occupy you for hours if you love immersion, open world games with great production value, and tons of exploration.

I would get fallout 3, i found that game had an highly addictive gameplay that is playable for hours and hours . The graphics are pretty good and the open landscape to explore is fun!

It is still one of the best rpg's in history, only perhaps being challenged by the recent dragon age : origins

If you have another person to play it with I say RE5 is load of fun, well, even by yourself it's a pretty good game. For getting the most gameplay out of your dollar though you should definitely buy Fallout 3 especially if you're a fan of shooting or rpg games.

What why no choice for borderlands? IMHO much better than FO3

I'd go for the God of War collection. I rented Assassin's Creed.. it was fairly short. (For me at least) Amazing game, there is no doubt about that.. but I just tore right through the story.

The only thing that I didn't like about Assassin's Creed II, was the fact that, unlike the first, you cannot replay sections of the game. You must start a whole new file. Unless that gets patched or something, replaying the entire game through.. just to play a specific section.. kinda sucks.

Also, like jwu said, RE5 is really fun if you have someone else to play with you. Again, short game. My friend and I beat it on hard in maybe 6 or so hours.

I would go for Fallout 3 or God of War. They're both cheaper than AC2 and more proven. I've played both and would list them on the best games of the decade.

AC2 might be good, but I have yet to play it. Baseball season is over, so I would pass on MLB 09 The Show since another version of the game is coming out in about 4 months.

The only game I would absolutely avoid like the plague on that list is RE5. IMO, it was a terrible game and Dead Space surpassed it in every way imaginable.

I'm also surprised that there is no Borderlands on this list, it should replace FO3.

Is Borderlands really that good? I may go with God of War seeing as how GoWIII comes out soon and I've never played the first two.

I would say ACII. I found resident evil 5 to be alright, fun game to play the story mode 2 times and explore but it got really boring for me.
Fallout3 was alright, I only played the main quest and most side missions and its great way to kill time. I still dont know which is better though, borderlands v. Dragon age v. Fallout 3 GOTY and possibly demon souls
I'm gonna wait out on GOW collection and hope it'll also be in GOW3 Limited edition

If you're playing it alone then it will suck. It's definitely a game you need to play with friends. I bought it and had fun with it for awhile, but since I don't multiplayer with friends often I found it a boring single player experience.

Yah I'm wondering how good the single player is on God of War games as I've never played them since I never had a playstation before. So its got my attention since the 3rd is coming out.
