I want to get a psp *again*. Seeing as how i can pick up any one of the (3?) available, i just wanted to see which one you guys think is the best. Poll above.

the first one has IR and longer battery life with a stock battery, and would probably be cheaper

1st and 2nd ar just as easy, ignore the 3rd one which has screen problems, and probably isnt crackable (just yet). My first gen is pimped to the max

I reccommend that you wait a little while cause i heard the psp 3000 will be cracked at some point
if you are into CFW just a little info.

Or if you are not a person that can wait ( me ) then go with the original psp
since its the best
well imho.

I say original because it's cheap, and it's easy to crack. Not only that but I see cracked PSPs in the FS thread all the time.
If you dont need TV-out, skype and dont mind the weight get the first one. The second one is less quality in my opinion. Its very easy to break compare to first gen. i have both and i like phat better.
Well, i was going to get one for myself at christmas, if i had any monies left. Which one has the best battery life?
Well none have a good battery life imho so just buy another one at they store
that says "Longer battery life"

Get the PHAT, not only because it is labeled PHAT (I never see a PHAT 360 now do i?)
but it also has the largest variety oh HomeBrew and cracks. Sure it is not thin as paper, but it also will not break into lego bit's if you drop it 2 inches

Anyone else love the radio on the PSP? i mean comeon it is awesome and you know it

Also, if you plan to do what i mentioned above yourself then
with the battery you got with the psp you can turn it into a pandora battery,
so with the other battery you can use to power up your psp.
So if you brick your psp then you still have your pandora battery to unbrick it ,
Which is my back up
And it has saved me A THOUSANDS TIMES....(To be continued)

Slim if you like to game in your bed and stuff, the reduced weight really helps, and the smoothed edges make it more comfortable. Plus if you get a Phat battery and an adapted battery cover, you get over 10 hours of gameplay (don't forget to install a CF on it)
Whats this PHAT battery everyone is mentioning? anyone got a link?
wow some people say psp fail. This is the only thing i have used for so long and nothing can match it in this category. I mean i get bored of consoles easy but this thing is amazing.

If i was to make it, i would need a second PSP that has already been hacked with CFW, then i would also need a slightly bigger Card. and i also need a second battery. really it just ends up not being worth it with the whole price/use ratio in my mind.

Its the original PSP battery.

You can buy special premade pandoras for $12

Phat = Fat its a bigger battery which is used in the first PSP and in order to use it on the slim psp you need a bigger cover cause its a bit bigger. Also the Slim battery is 1200ma and phat is 1800ma

Phat: Fine, my UMD drive crapped out but I dont need it
2nd Gen: Need a battery to install CFW (i believe)
3rd gen: Scan lines
