That brand is one of the best 390. With a free game it might be worth it even if Polaris is coming soon.

Find a used 290/290X for around ~$200.
Isn't $200 for a 290x a long shot? I seen them go for $250-300 still, depending on the brand.

I picked up a 290X for $200 just last week. If you don't look on eBay then you can find them on forum marketplaces such as this or reddit's hardwareswap
