Hi there.

I am so confused with all the different RAM available and the prices differ quite alot so really unsure on what to get. I want to get my i7 upto 4.0 - 4.2Ghz. I will be using an i7 and Asus P6TD Deluxe.

My budget is £175.

Please use either:

These were actually my first choice aswell, but upon reading a review they didn't seem to be anything special. Only scoring 71% out of 100%. I read a review on the crucial tracer Ballistix and they seemed to perform better but the only place i can seem to find the blue versions is on Crucials website where they are placed at £186 Which is around £15 more expensive than the Corsairs, which are already quite highly priced.

I have also looked at these in the past and seem to be quite a good option although it alerts me due to their price. Why're they so cheap? do they lack in quality or reliability or even performance? I have not read a review of this product yet.

Yeah the Corsairs fit the specs I need very well just looking for some more people with experience with this product as review sites are not always the best critic. What I mean by not great overclockers is that when Hexus overclocked them, they could only manage 1700Mhz on them compared to the 1850Mhz of the Crucial Ballistix Tracers.

God I hate deciding on parts sometimes. The processor and motherboard weren't nearly this hard!

Well Patriot are the first to make ram modules as fast as 2,400Mhz, they have high quality SSD's, I hear their RAM is great stuff, in some reviews I've read they pushed the 1600mhz modules close to 1900Mhz.

This is very interesting as I can get this set ( i believe they are similar, but not the same. Clarify anyone?)
