Hi guys

Which ram should i get?

Mushkin DDR2-800 RAM
> DDR2-800
> 2.0-2.1 V
> 4-4-4-12 Latenzen
> Bezeichnung: 996580 PCGH
> XP2-6400

Or:

G.Skill 2x 2048MB DDR2 PC1000 RAM CL 5-5-5-15 / F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ

I want it for getting my Q9450 too 3.8 ghz

G.Skill is better
you get higher Mhz even if it has looser timings, its still better overall
I think you should get the G.Skill PC2-8000(1000MHz) PI RAM for only $5 more or the 1066MHz version of that RAM for only $10 more.

Make sure you get a better CPU HSF for overclocking.

I would bet the Mushkin will go higher. If those GSkill could hit 1066, they would be binned in 1066 sticks. My Mushkin are stable to 1110 MHz.
i might get the gskills dude, ive heard they are cheap and very reliable.

I would get the mushkin. CL4 @800 is better than [email protected] CL5. Plus you can OC so I mean not really a question anymore. And neither make the DRAM so not sure what this whole this is better than that talk is about between these two? What G.Skill makes a great PCB? OK what ever?
