Alright, I have a Dell E193FP (19") and an NEC AccuSync LCD 72v (17").

Which would be better for gaming? Both run at 1280 x 1024 btw.

The Dell. It offers a slightly higher contrast ratio, and it's two inches bigger. Besides that' they're basically the same. Both have a response time of 16ms, which isn't "good", by gaming standards.
They're both decent. But if you want a good gaming monitor then you need one with lower response time, 2 or 5ms are the standards for a gaming monitor. But if you can't get one that's more expensive, then I would have to concur with Conley on the Dell.
The lowest response time any monitor/TV has in my house is my 52" HDTV, and it's still really laggy at around 8ms.

I still don't see that big of a difference, anyway.

Thanks guys.

Glad I could help.

EDIT: Btw the reason that your 52" "lags" is probaply because of input lag and not the actual response time. A TV with 8ms response time shouldn't have noticeable lag.
