hmm
purple white sounds like a nice idea to me
i know wat im going to suggest is time taking(i think) but i personally would think its going to be insane nice if you were able to make it striped from left corner to right botton on both sides, and to it just 50-50 white purple on the top and front

that would b my idea

have fun on the build man, nice ideas

well im going to paint it mainly white and the mesh will be purple. ive never seen the case in person so ill figure out more when it arrives. inside will probally be the same color scheme

obviously ill swap out the LEDs(red wont match) with either white or UV(leaning towards UV going through the purple mesh)

right now i go to school (high school) and work 2 jobs so im pretty busy as it is. i dont expect this to be an insane case mod. probably limited cutting...well hopefully

this is hopfully going to be the basis of a core i7 build. i need a new psu anyways because mine right now is sleeved black/green

heres whats been ordered so far

thanks! ive been wanting to do this mod since i first saw the 932 but the 922 had a nice deal so i snatched it up. ive seen 2 or 3 white hafs since and they look nice. hopefully this can be a new i7 build(if the funds allow).

schedule:
paint-picking up tomarrow; prime thursday/friday
sleeving/rivets- should arrive end of the week
i also have to stop by radioshack to pick up some cheap wire for the fans and see if i can find UV LEDs.

this will take a long time. this week i only work 15 hours but next week i work 30 hours(plus high school) it sucks but i make alot of money

well i found out that it was to cold in my garage. after 12 hours the paint was still somewhat tacky. the purple came out great but the white not so much. im going to see how spray painting in my basement works out
well.... im really sick right now so i probably wont get any new pics up for a few days. ill see what the doctors say tomarrow

well i came down with a sinus infection so no school/work for me. even tho i was in alot of pain i was so bored that i HAD to do some modding. i went on with the painting... heres some shots that i just took(found my camera)

i also have the drive bay things done. all the metal except the side panels is primed and ready to be painted(i might sandblast the side panels). ive also sleeved some wires with mdpc-x sleeving which i had left over.

Looking good! Also a little late since you painted already. But i found that the paint from the automotive store is alot higher quality in terms of smooth finish and adhesion. Duplicolor paint is the one i used and it went on alot more evenly than the rustoleum brand stuff that i used for my fluorescent painting.

i used this 2x cover stuff on my tempest build and it works great. i actually painted the plastic without primer and it came out fine. i tried scratching it off but it is sticking on there. that metal primer is really nice btw
