Why doesn't my GPU let me upgrade the DRIVER!!

Hey,

Im having this 9800GTX its bios moded

, its a 8800GTS G92 when i opened the Cooler a checked the dai it said A2-400-G92 So normally a 400 comes for a 8800GTS 512 ...

Here is the latest GPU-Z Pic the driver in this is old !!, it came in a CD and when i try to Upgrade to a New one it says something is not there !

I tried 8800GTS And 9800GTX Drivers Both gave me Dat the GPU isn't there installed

So please help me with this

The current Driver is nVIDIA Driver 178.24.

And the Card is on Stock .

But its a pritty good overclocker

Look at my Sigi RIG for the OC

use driversweeper to uninstall that forceware driver in safemode. And then install the desired driver

when did u get it moded?

restart computer, go into safe mode

run driversweeper in Administrator

Click Nivida Display and physx

press analyze

press clean

restart computer

CMD may prompt something up after restarting the 2nd time , i forget

heh, thats funny, i wouldn't worry about it if you don't feel any performance issues. GPU-Z is just reading the card name as a gts240 for some reason
