Why doesn't Western Digital provide MTBF information?

I was curious what the MTBF was on their 2TB drives. Went to their website and notice they don't display that info for any of their hard drives.

You need to check the appropriate PDF file that WD provides on their site.
I see 1.2 million hours MTBF.
AFAIK, they used to provide the MTBF numbers, and they were:

Caviar Blue & Green 750,000 hours, Black & RE 1200000 hours

I'm not positive though. I was just recently wondering the same thing, actually. I wish this could be clarified by someone.

Now that's a pain in the ass when they could've just posted it on their specs page for each drive.

WD hides MTBF data for 5400rpm drives because they have lower reliability
