Play.com are always good for prices. If they find a competitor with the same price, they will reduce it more, so that must be what has happened

I know they are normally good for prices, some times even worse, but besides the point,

Even then, dosent 700 quid for 40" strike a bit strange ??

Theres nothing wrong with that TV..Plasmas and LCD are gone pretty dam cheap now....ebuyer have some very cheap ones aswell...But the shipping will probably cost a nice bit of change. I bet the picture quality is very nice on that but you have to admit its not the best looking, that maybe another reason for the low price.

It doesn't seem to have a DVI connection, play.com are cheap, prices are falling and ive seen 32" lcds going for £350 at evesham.com

It's because it has HDMI. It does have either a VGA or a DVI though, because it says "PC input". Bravias are nice screens. However, that sounds expensive (700 GBP is about 1300 USD) for that TV. Then again, Polaroida makes a 32" that sells over here for $550 (about 220 GBP). It's probably the whole US is cheaper than UK thing.
