Wierd BIOS option

So I'm putting together a server using a p5k-deluxe as the motherboard. When I go under RAID configuration in the BIOS in order to set the drives, there is an option to enable/disable Intel Robson Technology. AFAIK, this is only used when there's flash memory installed to transfer data intermediately from the hdd. So why do I have this option available? I don't remember ever seeing this before on this board.

If if makes a difference, the drives I'm using for this build are server grade 80gb SATA I drives.

The Robson Technology (also called Intel Turbo Memory) is the PCI-E NAND memory modules designed by Intel to cache files. I have 4Gb module in my laptop (which it was designed for) and it caches files to the module to save power of having to spin up the HDD. It can also be used for ReadyBoost, but it has always been grayed out for me. Only in the last month with the new driver release has it been working correctly. So many manufacturers skipped the technology, even for laptops.

Maybe the board has the modules built into it (integrated). Here is what the PCI-E desktop module looks like:

Here is the laptop module:

That's what I thought. Isn't there supposed to be some type of mini pci-e connection for this to work? I just got this board back from rma and it came with BIOS 0202 so its not like this is a "new" BIOS option. A little confused here. Should I enable it?
Will it maybe allow a usb flash drive to function as the flash media?

EDIT: ericeod, just saw the pic you posted.

I bet if you flash to the lastest bios, it will not be there. The technology really flopped and was a big disappointment. As for the USB drive working, I dont think so. It is NAND memory through the PCI-E only.

I just looked up the board's specs and dont see anything about it:

I am assuming they bios option is there if you have the add-in card installed.

Wow, the 202 bios is the initial release and they are already on 1005. There have been 8 bios revisions since 202:

I thought that was kind of funny too. I bet this board was sitting on a shelf for a while.

I'm installing Server08 now and I'll update after the os is done loading/updating.
