Will 16-18amps per rail be enough fro the 4850

I am either looking a cooler master or an antec ea500 bersion 2.0 probable. will that be good for the 4850 no cf. I was looking at the single slot not the radiator cap one. Also I was getting alittle higher in my overclock because of my 3.0 and stock cooler and 350 watt psu. so I am not going to cut it close

It'll be plenty.
I run an HD4850 and OCed Athlon X2 5000+ 24/7 on a Antec EarthWatts 430W.

Which Cooler Master? A lot of the low end, cheaper Cooler Master units aren't very good. The Delta built EA500 would probably be the better choice, but it all depends on which CM you are considering.

There are two EA500s, the older Seasonic built ones and the never Delta units. There isn't much difference in performance, it doesn't really matter which one you get. Usually the Delta units will have a D in the model name (like the EA500D).

That particular CM is not one of the good ones. Cooler Master took a decent Seventeam built unit and then overrated it by ~100W. That 550W is more like a 400-450W.

That Cooler Master is in the same boat as the 550W you linked to earlier. It's another overrated model. It is basically a 500W unit with a 600W label on it.

The first Antec link goes to the Antec section, not a specific PSU. If it was to this one: http://www.ibuildcomputer.com/cgi-bi...WSAT&p_vlt=yps then it's decent. I would take the EA500 for $5 more though.

The EA500 for $73 seems to be the best deal on that site and it would easily handle a 4850.

The Truepower Trio 650 isn't all that good. Antec cut too many corners on that unit and it isn't as good as it should be.

Hmm, there's nothing that really stands out as a great deal. If you don't mind MIRs, the OCZ SXS is a decent budget unit: 500W and 600W. Also decently priced after rebates are the Corsairs: vx450, vx550 and tx650. Also the BFG LS series is good: 450W. Since I know many people don't like rebates, the best deals I can find would be these Antecs: EA500, the modular Neo 500W or the EA650.

The 450/500W units are fine for your setup, but since you had asked about the TP Trio 650W I wasn't exactly sure what you were considering so I included some higher watt models. In terms of quality it goes Corsair = BFG > Antec > OCZ so buy the best one you can afford.

Buy.com has better prices on the BFGs (like this 450 and 550) and Corsairs (vx450 and tx650) but then the free shipping is a little on the slow side and their customer service isn't near what newegg's is.

Sorry if this was a little long winded. I hope I gave you enough options
