Will a Megahalem fit in my Antec 300 case + some other questions

Howdy guys.

Now that there's Christmas soon, I'll be getting a new CPU cooler. However I am not sure if I should get a Xigmatek Dark Knight or a Megahalem.. I know that the megahalem beats Xiggys DK but I'm not sure if it'll fit in my Antec 300 and if my NB cooler on the DS3P mobo is going to block it. Another question is that if I get the DK I can get 2x Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 fans for a push/pull set-up, but if I get the Megahalem I will only be able to have 1 fan.. I'm going to see if I can get to 4GHz on my C1 Q9550, so I'll need the best, do you think that the DK is up to the job?
So, will the Megahalem fit with a Scythe Ultra Kaze fan and which one should I get?

my megahalem fits in my 300. gets right up on the top fan though. but no problems.

GI, don't get offended when I ask this question, I'm just really curious about one thing.

Whenever you guys have a case that gets so cramped to where either your CPU fan, a video card, or some other accessory gets very close to not fitting, why not just upgrade cases? They aren't really expensive and could drop temps in comparison to a cramped case.

It's just a question, I'm not trying to offend anyone.

no i understand.

i had a thermaltake armor case when i had my dual loops. i needed money to help pay bills, sold all my WC gear, and got a smaller case as a temporary case. i will be upgrading when needed. it has been serving well though, and im not too worried about temps atm
