I just bought an ECS-RS400-A Motherboard, & i bought an Intel Pentium D processor 820. Will this processor work on this motherboard?

Sorry to say, but it does not look like that motherboard supports Pentium D processors.

ECS-RS400-A is based on the ATI RS400 northbridge chipset (MCH) which does not support dual-core CPUs (Pentium D), see here.

* Supports Intel Celeron D, Pentium 4, Pentium 4 Extreme Edition with the 533/800/1066 MHz FSB (dual core processors are not supported, FSB works quite well at 1066 MHz, but this clock is officially not supported either)
