why not the i3 is supposed to fall into the same preformance margin as the core2's anyway. REbrand them and save everyone the trouble

I'm not sure what you mean by "become" but I believe you are correct when you say you've heard that core 2's are being phased out for the new i3 line up.

I meant rebranding basically.

And by the way, are any 32nm Core 2 Duos coming out? LGA 775?

i hope they bring a i9 out cause imma jump on that

also i think if they are gonna make everything (i something) THEY SHOULD MAKE ALL THE I's use the 1366 socket and triple channel ram and the ex58 and the ich10r

And according to what i read, the i9 has 12mb of l3 cache and integrated graphics on the chip itself...sounds fishy but if it does, it's going to be a **** ton
