Would i notice a difference between a 700:1 constast ratio and a 3000:1 constast ratio? Between the samsung monitors 225BW and 226BW. The 225BW has a 700:1 constast ratio and 5ms response time. While the 226BW has a 3000:1 constast ratio and 2ms response time.

That 3000:1 contrast ratio is dynamic, which means it equates *roughly* to a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Don't recall where I read that, but even still, the 226BW is a very nice monitor. Got one myself

I would say so. Huge? No. You will notice it though.
