Will I notice the diffrence?
Hi there, i have recently been using a audigy 2 ze software modded to an x-Fi. I am about to get an X-fi extreme gamer. Would i notice i big diffrence?
(I am using the Fatal1ty Headphones btw)

Yes, especially for games that support the newer EAX effects

Edit: Almost forgot, for music, put it in Audio Creation and select bit-matching. Sounds soo much better

They are more of an upgrade, the Prelude is pretty much the best X-Fi card.
The only real upgrade from that Audigy dude is to go onto something a bit more towards the top end... I.e an X-Fi Elite Pro or an ASUS Xonar DX or better.
