i am getting a new comp in a few days and i will get my new ram a few weeks later, so i was wondering if i could use my old pc-3200 ram sticks (2 gig) for now until i get the new one... is it possible?

is it ddr or ddr2? only ddr2 will work with it.<br />

...I think that you will need at least DDR2 533 for this board to POST...What you described is standard DDR, not DDR2...So to answer your question...No the RAM will not work<br />

You will need new RAM... otherwise you could always go with an AMD socket 939 build to keep that 2 gigs <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /><br />
You won't be able to get Conroe though, if that's what you want..<br />

If you're getting the P5B-Deluxe though you will need DDR2

Corsair or Ocz, both have some good value series. Both clock pretty good, and produce decent scores on Sisandra
