Ok i run fear maxed out all the way with aa up to like whatever is the highest and everything cranked and resoulution at 1280X1024 a get a lil loading beforce corners and not much noticable lag. i plan to go into sli next week with another 7600gs which is working great so far but im not seeing any gain at all with after market cooling besides lower temps. im getting no oc gain at all and ive seen non voltmodded 7600gs's getting way more. anyway with most of my games running at 1280X1024 maxed out see a world of gain?

What? I have a 7600GT OC and I cant even run fear at 1280x1024 max.. Runs 1024x768 fine though.

Anyways, if you can run you games maxed out already, and they dont lag, then you wont see a world of difference.
On a 7600GS?? What'd you do? Throw it in some liquid nitrogen?

no im running fear single player demo everything cranked i see a little loading around corners and thats all. plus that 2 gigz of gskill i dont even have yet is holding me back. i only still have 512mb of ram. they are unmatching ram so when i previously had it in dual channel mode i lagged like crazy after taking it out and putting it normal 64nit its runns like a charm. thsi week i intend on another 7600gs and 1 gig of kinkston! heres my gfx card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125028

I run a heavily overclocked 6800GS (which goes neck and neck with mildly overclocked 7600GT's)...and it struggles with FEAR @ 1280/1024 w/no AA.

Sumblime0 is lying again...
He just provided proof, quit shootin' the guy down.

Nice OC buddy, and you'd be better off saving for a new card instead of a second GS, to actually answer your question, unlike everyone else.

*nod* My 7900 GT @ 650 and opteron @ 2.8 couldnt even run fear at full settings at 128x1024 4xAA 8xAF w/o slow down... my new rig can though.

LOL

I can barely run Fear maxed out with good FPS:

He only has a 3500+, 512MB Ram, and a 7600GS....

Yea there is no way he is running it at those setting. My 7900 GT couldn't do that with my 3700+ sandy.

o_O I can... voltmodded 7900GT + 3700+ at 3, one gig of RAM, it's pretty much maxed at 1680 x 1050, with just fine FPS.

lol at stock I couldn't

My cpu at 2.7 and my 7900gt OC'd a lil. I could run at like 35-50 FPS @ 1680 x 1050 maxed out.

The way I run most of my games on pretty good settings is by turning off shadows. It improves my frame rates by a boatload; and since I'm so used to never playing with shadows, I never really notice the difference.

So with FEAR I run max settings with shadows off at 2xAA and 4xAF at a smooth 50-60 fps.
