OK, I clocked my i5 @ 3.75 Ghz (170*21 @ vcore 1.21, vtt normal) on GA-P55M-UD2. And I set my memory to auto except vdrm @ 1.64. When I run LinX and IntelBurnTest, the vdram in HWmonitor shows a max of 1.65 and not going over. With P95 it stays at 1.63.

I've heard that with the i5 and i7 the vdrm should not goes above 1.65. so, am I still alright?

I would have to agree with Juggalo, set your ram manually and don't forget to set the ram voltage too! If you leave it on auto while overclocking it may try to use more voltage than it actually requires and may damage your ram kits.

if I set my RAM manually to spec the sys. becomes unstable for some reason. the mobo only allows vdrm changes in .02 increments. I manually set it to 1.64, the next up is 1.66.

If it goes too high, you should just turn it down a notch.

I thought the sticky i7 overclock guide in this forum instructs to set ram voltage at 1.66. I think 1.66 is alright, but am not positive. Anyone else use 1.66?
