it will be just fine, you wont ruin ram by playing with timings, volts however will cause damage if pushed too high.
Will this damage my ram?
hello! just asking i have 2 sticks of corsair value ram PC3200 and crucial ram PC2700. each are 512mb. if i REALLY lower tghe ram timings will it damage my ram ro shorten its life at all? i have had original SPD of 2.5-3-3-8 and lowered ot to 2-2-2-3 stable. if it damages my ram a fair bit i will lower it or swhould i loosen the timings a bit? thx!!
