hello, I try to help my friend to fix his computer.
he told me something was wrong in his pc, I tried to format it and i got a BSOD when I tried to format, So I thought something was wrong with his hdd. so he bought one, we plugged it and format it, when windows loaded it showed more BSOD.
so now Im thinking its a memory issue.
I am now running Memtest+ and so far it made 1 pass and no issues. what could else be wrong with getting random BSODs?

Hm, is his CPU OC'd?
Could you ask him for what the BSOD actually says? On the top there's an error message, it's very hard to say what it is without it.
