Sorry if this is a re-post. For those of us who have seen ALL of the Windows variants, this is a great trip down memory lane.

I remember being awe-struck when I saw Windows 3.0. I was like a kid in the candy shop.

I started at some DOS program that manages files then real fast went to 3.11 xD I was so afraid of somehow crashing the system and wrecking it xD

I would like to see what Geo works looked like when they bought it from xerox and turned it into windows. I believe that the name of the graphical interface xerox made for its printers was named Geo works before MS bought the rights to it I might be wrong though.

It's amazing how little the interface changed between windows 95 and 2000. XP is just a little reskin that adds some color. Vista seems like the biggest change as far as interface since 95.

there hasn't been too many great gui changes since windows 95 and the invent of the start button.

That was a pretty cool seeing when changes where big like 95 and when changes where very small.<br />

That's funny to me....only because EVERY time I log into a new XP machine I immediately revert all the UI settings to classic mode. I can't stand the new XP UI. I'm an old fart I guess.

</div>Same here, I just like the classic look lol, good thing vista has classic aswell <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /> but I think it will look much better in vista theme than classic.
