Easiest fixes, pay a cheap printer for now or take the file(s) to some wheres to print them off. The hard fix, install whatever you were running for an OS before on one of the systems and wait for the drivers to get updated. Sorry I don't have any great ideas for this one but you do have options.

Edit:
Or make one of the systems a dual boot system.
Stick the print job on a flash drive and print it from another system.

OR.. If it was Vista you had previously, install the Vista drivers on Win 7 and the printer may well work ok.
when i installed windows 7 i upgraded in the install and i didnt delete my files and settings etc.

do you think my old windows vista is still on my hard drive?

Parts of Vista will still be on the drive unless you fully formatted it but it will be there as old data now. Just download some Vista drivers for the printer and install those drivers on Windows 7, hopefully that should get your printer working.

One option is to load Virtual PC and print from within Virtual PC. Get Open Office and use it from within the Virtual PC becuase trying to run MS Office from within the virtual PC may cause some licensing issues.

I don't think that would work because it still has to go through the Win 7 before it could get to the printer.
