Here is the snapshot...



My system is below...

How do I get a rating of 3.0 in the hard disk category?

I have two Seagate 250GB 7200.10 SATA II 3gb/s drives. No jumpers on both drives.

Whats going on?

Strange, I get 6.0. Never had a problem. Make sure write cache is enabled

my brother gets a 5.9 and he has 1 samsung 1TB f1

I think I might have found the problem but how do I fix it? Take a look at this...

It's reading the SATA drives as IDE ATA drives:



Anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Do you have jumpers on your HDD's set to sata 1.5gbps? Doubt it would matter, but you can check anyway.

Just run HDTach. Post the screenshot. If its under 20mb/s then the windows index is correct and you have a problem. If not, forget it.
